The Forum Maximilianeum
is a podium discussion, which scholars of the Stiftung Maximilianeum organize annually and honorifically for students of different scholarship organizations. The goal is to enable an exchange between engaged students and notable debaters. Thematically the focus of Forum centres on contemporary social questions, which simultaneously exceed and go beyond everyday politics.

The event takes place once annually in the historic rooms of the Bavarian Parliament. The podium discussion concludes with a round of questions and a reception with wine, which offers the possibility for dialogue between guests and discussants.
In the past, numerous renowned guests could be greeted, inter alia: Friedrich Merz, Peer Steinbrück, Charlotte Knobloch, Edmund Stoiber, Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, Wolfgang Schäuble, Wolfgang Kubicki, Wolfgang Ischinger, Hans-Werner Sinn, Michael Müller and Andrea Nahles.
